Towle Lady Mary sterling sauce ladle

  

  

  

This extraordinary sauce ladle was made by Towle Silver in the Lady Mary pattern. Towle introduced the pattern in 1917 and we believe this piece was made not long after that. 

Monogrammed on the handle with the initials "DJP", it is in good condition with normal wear. We do not typically buff our sterling and th is piece is no exception. As a result, it has a satin finish with some pitting on inside bowl but very little on exterior. 

Ladle measures approx. 4 1/2" in vertical height or 6 1/4" diagonally. Bowl measures approx. 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" when measured at widest points. 

This is a gorgeous piece with extraordinarily style!

 Unknown pattern. Dating back to mid-century, this beautiful cheese spreader measures about 9 1/4" overall. In good condition with no bends or crimps---pictures don't do this beauty justice. Blade has "new" luster whose only wear is from storage. Shows well alone or in a collection.

Lunt Chippendale sterling silver sugar tongs

These exceptionally clean set of sugar tongs were made by Lunt in the Chippendale pattern which was introduced in 1910. These tongs are sterling silver (marked). 

Tongs have a perforated handle and measure approx. 3 1/2" in overall length. 

In pristine condition with no bends or breaks and no deep scratches. These have an outstanding patina and have not been ppolished on a buffing wheel.
